| Indian Fry Bread 5
6 cups of flour 2 packages of yeast 3/ 4cup of sugar 1/4 cup of shortening 1 1/2 cup of milk 1/2 cup of warm water
Mix the dry ingredients together, add yeast to warm water, mix, add to dry ingredients. Knead. Put in bowl, cover and let rise until double in size, about 1 hour. Divide and roll into 5" flat round tortilla shape. Deep fry until golden brown. Top with your favorite toppings. |
