| Sunflower Seed Soup 2 cups of sunflower seeds, hulled 6 cups of chicken broth 3 small green onions, thinly sliced 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh dill Salt and ground pepper to taste Place the sunflower seeds in a large saucepan. Add the chicken broth and green onions. Cook, uncovered, over low heat for about 1 hour. Stir in the dill and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serves 4 - 6 |
